Dear Friends: This is the 19^th edition of the ProJesus Newsletter.

Hear Ye!  Hear Ye! All you in the United States who have heard about Jesus (God the Son).

Around this time every year we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. As we prepared our hearts for Christmas, even more so, let us prepare our hearts for Resurrection Day which is the capstone of the Gospel for those who believe in and follow Jesus the Christ our God and Savior. 

There is nothing more significant than the reality of Christ’s Resurrection, which insures that we too will be resurrected and thus our names will be in the Lamb’s Book of Life, written only by Jesus.  And if our names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, we are among all people blessed. We will one day soon experience that reality with our Savior, and if that is true, how then should we now live?

How does the Resurrection of Jesus fit into life here in the United States as this Nation moves more and more in a negative direction?  What does History tell us about the Nation of Israel not obeying the LORD?  Israel followed the Lord---for awhile.  Then, when they revolted, God turned them over to a Pagan Nation that suppressed Israel, eventually causing Israel to Pray and return to the LORD.  This happened time and time again throughout Israel’s history! 

Now, fast forward 3000 years to the present day in the United States (U.S.), which has turned its back on Jesus many times.  How long will the LORD be patient with us?  Can anyone know where the U.S. will be in the world’s economy in the next 5, 10 or 20 years?  There are many changes taking place here at “Home”.  Are they negative or positive?  Are we as a people “reaping what we sow?” 

America! Wake Up! Obey the LORD when He says in 2 Chron 7:14;  “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”  But how can that happen as statistics show fewer Americans believe that Jesus is the only Creator, God and Savior and the only way to eternal life in heaven.

We Americans NEED Jesus in our homes, our communities, our businesses and government now more than ever.
