^{In other words it is our God-given responsibility to vote.   Our next president will determine the ‘leaning’ of the Supreme Court for decades to come.  Two justices will retire shortly and their replacements will either swing the court to the ‘left’--away from the Constitution—or ‘right’--adhering to our Founding Fathers’ original intent.   If the Constitution moves ‘right’, Roe vs Wade may be overturned and returned to the States to decide whether abortion is legal.   Study the issues and the people running for office to discover their beliefs,  character, and integrity.   You may want to watch Saddleback Church Pastor Rick Warren’s interview of Obama and McCain on ‘You Tube’ for clarity.  Then please, pray for discernment about how Jesus would vote if He was by your side.}  >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>                   

                    The California Marriage Protection Amendment

The California Supreme Court recently overturned a voter ­approved law which protected the biblical teaching that marriage is between a man and a woman. Proposition 8: The California Marriage Protection Amendment on the ballot Nov. 4^th is an amendment to the state constitution and will therefore be protected from being overturned by the California Supreme Court.

The amendment reads:   “Only marriage between a man and a woman is valid and recognized in California.”

 

This is a very important issue to our families and our Country, so please support Proposition 8 by:

   

1.  Registering to vote

2. Taking the time to educate yourself on this issue.

3. Talking to your friends and neighbors about this issue with patience and love.

4.  Voting, please.

                     ^{Adult Family Member Notification before an Abortion}  

   ^{There have been documented cases of minor girls being taken for secret abortions by anyone—even an adult male who impregnated her—without the doctor notifying any family member.  Some of these abortions are coerced. In California a school nurse cannot give a minor an aspirin without parental permission, but that same nurse can send a girl to an abortion clinic without notifying the any family member.  Watch the You Tube videos on Prop 4 and read your Calif. Official Voter Guide for more information.  Notification laws are protecting girls in over 30 states, and have been for up to 25 years.  Please vote for Prop. 4 to include our state.}

Be Aware of  Many False Prophets

 1 John 4:1  “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.”

John gives the warning to "test the spirits" because many false prophets are now here. Prior to Christ's coming, the false "dreamer" (Deuteronomy 13:1-5) would readily be exposed when his prophecy did not come about. Such a false prophet was to be executed!

But the prophets of the "last hour" (1 John 2:18) you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour”… they will perform great wonders (Matthew 24:24) & (Mark 13:22)  For false Christ’s and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

Here's the problem; they come from among Christians!  Peter warns us in 2 Peter 2:I -3 in five ways:

1.  They come from a "Christian" background.

2.  They deny the biblical Lord Jesus in some way.

3.  They will become very popular, especially with emotionally­

              motivated people.

4.       They will degrade doctrines of the Bible. 

5.       They will stimulate greed to attract followers.

    We are warned to test every one of them, and when they

do not abide in the doctrine of Christ, we are to reject their teaching and not have any fellowship with them (2 John 9-11). They are dangerous
