We Reap What We Sow
"Yesterday, Dec. 7, 1941 - a date which will live in infamy - the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked...No matter how long it may take us... the American people in their righteous might will win through to absolute victory... we will not only defend ourselves to the uttermost but will make very certain that this form of treachery shall never endanger us again."
President Franklin Roosevelt, Dec 8, 1941
It is too bad that over the years we have forgotten these words and allowed our nation to become complacent; thinking we in the United States will never again be attacked - that these things only happen to others.
We -
De-funded the military after WWII and then expected them to be ready
to defeat the communist enemy on a moment's notice when committed to combat
in Korea -
Sent troops to an Asian war in Vietnam, without the strong backing of
the our citizenry, knowing it could be a long war -
Sent troops to battle in Somalia on an ill-defined mission and then abandoned
them to their fate in the streets of Mogadishu -
Fired off cruise missiles to destroy an aspirin factory -
On Aug. 20, 1998, President Clinton personally ordered the leveling of the Al-Shifa
pharmaceutical plant on the outskirts of Khartoum, Sudan.More info at: www.salon.com/news
Used our military for a organization of social experimentation-
U.S. Navy- Women combat pilots, one of who crashed into the sea, losing the
jet aircraft attempting to land on a carrier - obviously out of her element
and ill-suited for the task.
U.S. Army - The Center for Military Readiness is pleased that the Bush Administration
is ending the practice of training women for land combat positions, which was
instigated during the Clinton Administration and continued until April of this
year.
Disbanded almost all forms of information gathering on dissident groups
within the United States and have not allowed our intelligence gathering ability
to keep pace with those who would destroy our way of life - from without and
from within -
We used to have a House Un-American Activities Committee [HUAC] and a California
Senate Fact-Finding Subcommittee on Un-American Activities. HUAC no longer exists
and The California UAC was disbanded in the early 70s. The CIA was prohibited
from using informants who were "crooks". The rules required that potential
CIA informants be screened for criminal convictions or human rights violations.
When one deals with the enemy one must be able to access the enemy's source
of activities. Informants must able to blend in without attracting attention.
Only people who think like the enemy can do that. "Squeaky clean"
and "do-gooders" need not apply.
Elected people to office who are more interested in fulfilling their
own desires or who promote legislation that divides us and pits one group against
rather than doing what is right for the American people -
Class warfare is a typical tactic of leftists, socialists, and democrats. They
love to pit the "poor" against the "rich", the "have
nots" against the "haves." How about Sen. Kennedy and Chapaquidick,
Congressman Barney Frank - his roomie running a house of male prostitution for
homosexuals out of Frank's home, Clinton and Lewinsky, Clinton and Paula Jones,
Clinton and Kathleen Willey.
On the local level we have California State Senator Sheila
Kuehl, Assemblywoman Carole Migden, (both lesbians), and their supporters in
the legislature, constantly promoting pro-homosexual/lesbian, and anti-family
legislation-- most of which gets passed by our leftist leaning legislature and
then is signed by Governor Gray Davis.
Cheapened human life by throwing unborn children on the trash heap of
abortion
Put fish above the life of firefighters and the well being of farmers;
and animals, trees, swamps, and jungles above the greater good of mankind -
WASHINGTON, DC, June 25, 2001 (ENS) - U.S. Senate efforts to pass a supplemental
appropriations bill before the July 4th break could be stymied by the battle
over scarce water in the Pacific Northwest. Farmers in the Klamath Basin are
facing a year with no water for irrigation, as all available water has been
diverted to protect endangered suckerfish, and the region's lawmakers are threatening
to block emergency spending unless the water is restored.
William La Jeunesse says; "Forest policy prohibits firefighting helicopters
from drawing water from protected streams out of fear they will scoop up endangered
fish. Exemptions require review by government biologists. (While the fire rages
on!)
Removed any mention of God or Jesus in the public schools -
Are more interested in promoting diversity rather than unity. We are
all Americans - not hyphenated Americans!
Multi-ethnicity is the uniqueness of America, "Out of Many One". Multi-culturalism
is a social experiment doomed to failure. It divides us rather than bring us
together as Americans.
Lost our strong moral fiber; taking interest in material things - video
games, TV programs, and movies that assail our ears with ever increasing profanity
and foul language, and our eyes with scenes of sex and violence that numb the
mind -
We are now paying the price of moral decline.
This is a wakeup call for America.
We must change - Our national soul is dying.
We pray and call on Jesus to guide us in this our hour of need and to be with
us always.
