PROPHECY VERSUS: END TIMES
A. “I WILL COME AGAIN”:
John 14:2-4 In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. NKJ V
B. “JESUS WILL COME BACK”:
Acts 1:10-11 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, 11 who also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven." NKJ V
C. “WHEN YOU SEE THESE THINGS”:
Luke 21:31 So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. NKJ V
D. “BE READY”:
Matt 24:44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. NKJ V
1. REBIRTH OF ISRAEL:
Isa 14:1-2 For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob, and will still choose Israel, and settle them in their own land. The strangers will be joined with them, and they will cling to the house of Jacob. 2 Then people will take them and bring them to their place, and the house of Israel will possess them for servants and maids in the land of the LORD; they will take them captive whose captives they were, and rule over their oppressors. NKJ V
Isa 66:8Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion was in labor, She gave birth to her children. NKJ V
Ezek 11:16-17 Therefore say, 'Thus says the Lord GOD: "I will gather you from the peoples, assemble you from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel." ' NKJ V
Luke 21:24 And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. NKJ V
2. DECREASING MORALITY:
2 Tim 3:1-4 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, NKJ V
3. NATION RISING AGAINST NATION IN WAR:
Matt 24:5-8 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. NKJ V
4. EARTHQUAKES, FAMINES AND PESTILENCE:
Luke 21:11 And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilence; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven. NKJ V
Matt 24:7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilence, and earthquakes in various places. NKJ V
5. GROWTH OF CULTS AND FALSE PROPHETS:
1 Tim 4:1-2 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, NKJ V
Matt 24:11Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. NKJ V
Matt 24:24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. NKJ V
6. INCREASE IN TRA VEL, EDUCATION AND INFORMATION:
Dan 12:4 "But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase." NKJ V
7. INCREASE IN APOSTASY:
2 Tim 3:4-6 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! 6 For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, NKJ V
Matt 24:9-11 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. NKJ V
8. MOCKERS OF THE SECON D COMING:
2 Peter 3:3-8 knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, "Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation." 5 For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, 6 by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. 7 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. NKJ V
9. AS IT WAS IN THE DAYS OF NOAH;
Matt 24:37-39 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be NKJ V
Gen 6:11-13 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. 12 So God looked upon the earth, and indeed it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth. NKJ V

2 Thess 2:3-4 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. Rev 13:6-8 It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. 8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
