I’M NO FORTUNE TELLER, BUT WHAT CAN WE EXPECT IN THE FUTURE?
This question is asked by many people and continues to be of great concern. Much of everyone’s life today has changed radically because of global terrorism and the threat of nuclear weapons. The USA public is divided over the war in Afghanistan and in Iraq. World leaders seem very confused (almost chaotic!) in trying to deal with what is taking place all around the world. Bible believers have the following facts about the future to keep them steady in turbulent times and to keep them ready for the coming of the Lord!
Most of the comments below can be found in the Bible. However many of the situations are in today’s newspaper headlines. (Some excerpts from Hope for Today Newsletter)

According to Jewish Agency Statistics about 21,000 Jews will Immigrate to Israel during the year 2006. Record Aliyah from the West: the highest total from England in 22 Years and from North America in 23 Years. A substantial growth in the number of Young People, 49,000, will come to Israel for short-term and long-term stays.

These efforts were initiated by Theodore Herzl, founder of the Zionist movement, and were given added impetus by the Balfour Declaration of 1917, which asserted the British Government's support for the creation of a Jewish homeland in Palestine.
