IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS

Jesus is the Creator of all life. Jesus should be in all our actions, our thoughts and our future goals. Especially during Easter week, we should all welcome Jesus into our lives with outstretched arms. Jesus stretched out His arms that first Easter Sunday and died for us.

God gave us this Commandment in Deuteronomy 6: 5, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart...soul..and strength". Jesus, God the Son, said this Commandment, which is the greatest of all Commandments, is to be "in our hearts". We are to "Impress ... on your children. Talk about ... when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up........Write ... on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates." (Deut. 6:7-9).

Could Jesus be any more clear in commanding us to pray to Him? Further, we are to tell others, especially our children, about Him. Friends, IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS!

Just take a good look at the world, our nation and our own community. Could our community and the U.S. be better? With a loud voice we all say yes, of course! If all of humankind had a personal relationship with Jesus the Christ would everything be better? Yes or No? That last question has a simply answer. YES! All of society would be better off if everyone knew Jesus in a personal way and accepted His Commandments. However, most people in the world do not acknowledge that Jesus is our LORD, God and Savior.

Many children today are being raised in households where there is no religion at all, or if there is religion it is not "Fundamental Christianity". Many of these children know nothing, or very little, about Jesus the Christ. Also, many of your friends and neighbors do not know Jesus, who is GOD the SON. Jesus wants us to tell our friends and relatives about Him.

However, you might be reading this and thinking that you don't "know" Jesus. You may know about Him, but do you really know Him? He created you! Get to know Him! Read His Word "The Bible". Jesus said in John 14:6-7, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Coming to the Father means going to Heaven.

A person does not get to heaven through various world religions or cults but only by following Jesus, only Jesus, GOD the SON! Remember that we all will live for eternity. We will choose to be with Jesus or Satan, those are our only choices. That may sound harsh and narrow-minded but it really isn't. Following Jesus provides for us an amazing voyage into eternity.

Folks, IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS! Whether it is Easter season or not, anytime is the perfect time to put aside the every day items that clutter our lives. Even if we only have ten or fifteen minutes, we can find a quiet place and really listen to Jesus. He wants to talk to us.
