Worry
Your question is: If GOD knows everything & all things...Past & future, why should I worry if I do right or wrong if no matter what I do is already known to him. And that is what's already expected or known of me before even mankind was created?
Jesus (God the Son) loves you and me so much, He gave us “free will”, a choice to do good or evil. That way we are “free” to learn about Him and Love Him. We learn about Him through His Word the Bible. Without “free will” we would be simply puppets and God could force us to Love Him and do as He dictates. However, that would be no Love at all. Note: Jesus (God the Son) IS Love!! John 12:46-47 “And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.” That’s the kind of love I want from my God.
God has control over our eternal destiny and He teaches us the difference between right and wrong; thus, it matters a great deal what we do with our life. Jesus’ Apostles asked Him in: John 6:28-29: “The Apostles said to Him, "What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?” (i.e. to be saved). Jesus (God the Son) answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent." Also it is said in: Rom 10:9-10 “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that He rose from the dead, you will be saved.” It is true that Jesus (God the Son) knows our every move and thought for He is OMNIPOTENT: The condition of being all-powerful. Other attributes of God include, OMNIPRESENT: The condition of being present everywhere at once. And another attribute of God is OMNISCIENCE: The condition of knowing everything; and thus He knows all our thoughts before time began.
There are two ideologies to this subject. A portion of the ideology from both sides, Calvinists and Arminianism, will be touched upon in the attachment I have sent along with this e-mail.
We humans have had free will to sin ever since the “fall” of Adam and Eve who were tempted by the serpent (satan). God told satan at that time in: Gen 3:14-15 "Because you have done this, "Cursed are you above all the livestock and all the wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life. And I will put enmity between you (satan) and the woman, and between your (satan) offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel." Jesus (God the Son) came to earth, died on the cross for everyone’s sins as the “perfect sacrifice”. In doing so, Jesus crushed satans head. Jesus is the One who came and conquered satan. And for those who accept Him and repent from their sins, they will be with Him in Paradise for all eternity.
And finally in: 2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord Jesus is not slack (slow) concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering (patient) toward us, not willing that any should perish (to hell) but that all should come to repentance.”
